Get in touch

If you've found a bug, have a question, or want to share feedback about a grid, I read every email. Replies usually within 48 hours; Quiet Paper Studio is small, so please be patient on weekends.

Email

Please include your device model (e.g., iPhone 14 Pro), iOS or Android version, and a brief description of what happened. Screenshots help. If the issue is a specific grid, mention the world (W1-W10) and grid number.

Frequently asked

How do I play?

Drag through adjacent letters to spell a word, then lift to submit. Or tap cells one at a time and press submit. Words must be 3+ letters and in standard English. Each grid has a curated list of target words (shown as length blanks like _ _ _ _) plus 200-700 bonus words you can discover.

How do I unlock all the worlds?

Lattice is free for the first 75 grids (Worlds 1-3). Tap any locked world to see the unlock screen — it's a one-time $1.99 in-app purchase that unlocks the remaining 175 grids across W4-W10. There are no subscriptions, no ads, and no additional purchases.

I bought Lattice Full but the worlds are still locked. What now?

Open the app, tap the Settings gear, and choose Restore Purchase. The unlock state is tied to your Apple ID or Google account. If restoring doesn't work, email me with your purchase receipt and I'll resolve it manually.

What's the difference between "complete" and "fully solved"?

Each grid has two completion tiers: ✓ complete means you've found at least N words total (any combination of targets or bonus), where N matches the world's required target count (7 for W1, up to 19 for W10). ★ fully solved means you've found at least N of the specific curated target words shown as length blanks. The gold star is the optional stretch goal.

How does the hint button work?

The hint button highlights the starting cell of an unfound target word. You still trace the path yourself — the hint just shows where to start.

Does the game work offline?

Yes. The full game is downloaded on install. Your progress saves locally to the device, and (when online) syncs to the cloud automatically so you can pick up on a different device.

How do I switch devices and keep my progress?

Sign in (Settings → Sign in) with Apple, Google, or email on your old device. Install Lattice on the new device, sign in with the same identity, and your progress will sync within a few seconds. Anonymous accounts don't sync across devices — that's why we offer the sign-in option.

How do I reset or delete my data?

Settings → Reset progress clears your gameplay state but keeps your account. Settings → Delete account permanently removes your account and all associated data from our servers. Neither action affects your purchase — Lattice Full stays unlocked on the same Apple/Google account.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by us. On iOS: Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → Lattice, or use Apple's reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android: open the Play Store, find your order, request a refund within Google's window.

The app crashed or hung. What can I do?

Force-quit and reopen. If it persists, please email me with what happened — your reports help prioritize fixes for the next update.

Why hex grids?

Most word puzzles use square grids; hex gives 6-direction adjacency, which makes for more interesting paths and a different feel. It's also a continuity nod to our sister game, Tessera (also from Quiet Paper Studio).
